My Mom took these pictures about a month ago and I love how they turned out! And since Mason has M.I.A. from the blog pictures for a while (thanks to all the Vegas posts) I thought we all needed a big dose of cuteness!

I took him for his 3 year check-up the other day & he is off the charts again for height and weight. (No surprises there-he's always either in the 90th percentile or off the chart) He weighs 38 lbs and is 41 inches tall! What a big boy. He even got to pick a toy out of the Dr's Treasure Chest since he was potty trained. And no shots this time, so needless to say, he left there a happy kid.

He starts Preschool next week and is so excited! Of course you'll get to here all about that new adventure~wish us luck!

I'm Famous...sort of.

Since I'm done blogging about our Vegas trip, I need to catch up on what has happened in the last few weeks~

1. We visited the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks with out-of-state family (blog post coming soon)

2. Celebrated my nephew's 12th birthday (blog post coming soon)

3. I got a surprise e-mail from the Editor of a website called Baby Lifestyles asking to use photos from the baby shower I threw for my BFF, Tori (aka Victoria) last Fall! She had seen some of my pics on flickr and wanted me to submit them along with all the details of the shower for them to use on their website. I was so flattered! I immediately consulted my BFF & my Mom (my co-hostess) to see what they thought & of course they were all for it!

I wrote most of what she published--EXCEPT for the part where she got my name & my mom's name mixed up! I've been e-mailing her to please PLEASE fix it for 2 weeks now! So when you read it, insert "LINDSAY" where it says "LISA." (not to discredit my mom, but I made most of that stuff & if I didn't, I totally name-dropped so that they could be FAMOUS too! haha)

Las Vegas Part 6~The Finale

Here are the last of the photos I wanted to share with you of our Vegas 10th Anniversary trip. They're pretty random, but I wanted to share them nonetheless.

Las Vegas Part 5~Dining

Yes, I'm STILL going with the Vegas pics! (sick of hearing about it yet? )
Here's pictures of several places we ate while there...

Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville...we visited this place frequently during the day since it was right on the Strip, it had a great casual atmosphere and a large bar with fresh margaritas (what better way to cool off?)
We had dinner here on our anniversary.

For lunch on our anniversary, we ate at Zeffirino, inside the Venetian. It's the only restaurant overlooking the Grand Canal and it was gorgeous! The food & service were amazing. (in the first pic, you can see the dark blue banner hanging down from the balcony. Our table was to the right of that) Their bathroom is in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most expensive bathroom because it's all imported from Italy.

For lunch another day, we ate at the Rainforest Cafe inside the MGM Grand (Wayne is sitting at the table to the middle left)
Inside the Rainforest Cafe~great food & and very neat atmosphere. They have a "rainstorm" every 30 minutes. Our first night in Vegas~Dinner the The Grand Lux Cafe. My fresh mojito was really good!

Those were the Dining highlights...I think I'll do 1 more Vegas post then put it to rest. Part 6 coming soon.

Las Vegas Part 4~The Wax Museum

Here's the other "attraction" we visited, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. We had free passes and thought it might be boring, but it turned out to be anything but! It was an interactive wax museum, so it was fun being silly and posing with the "celebs!" Here's SOME of the famous people we hung out with...

Las Vegas Part 3~The Attractions

On our second night in Vegas, we went to see a Cirque de Soliel show called KA. It was amazing! The performers were so skilled and the theater was beautiful, however they didn't allow photography, so we don't have any pictures of that.

However, we did gets pics of these fun things we did...

A romantic gondola ride at night at our hotel, the Venetian. Our gondolier sang 2 beautiful Italian songs for us...on our 10th anniversary!
