Just wanted to pop in and let you know I'm still around! After our electricity went off a week or so ago, our computer would not come back on! We are in the process of getting our hard drive out with all our pictures on it, while shopping for a new computer. Until then, I've been getting by with the laptop to check e-mail, etc.
So, as soon as I'm able, I'll be back to posting pictures!
Have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Sunday Afternoon at Grandma & Grandpa's
Sunday we visited Wayne's Mom & Dad and also got to see his Grandma and his Sister & her family while we were there! The weather was nice and Mason had so much fun playing with his cousins, Lexi and Haley. We also got to eat homemade stew that Wayne's Mom, Clova, made. Yum!

Cameron's Championship Football Game
Last week I met some of my family at my old high school alma mater football field to watch my nephew, Cameron's team, the Saints, in their Championship game. The Saints had only lost one game all season and it was to the Cowboys, the undefeated team they were playing in the Championship~so the heat was on! Actually it was pretty stinkin cold outside but I thought a small jacket and scarf was a good choice when I left my house. Thank goodness my sister had brought a blanket for us to sit on or else my booty would've been frozen to the metal bleachers! (TMI, I know) So anyway, back to the game...
Cameron plays Defense~he is #20 (standing up in the back)
The huddle My sister, Angela, and her bf, Forrest
My parents
Me & Mom...freezing and tired!
Look at that final score! 20-0! What a victory!

Halloween Night
Mason was a pirate for Halloween this year. He had the pirate talk down~he'd say things like, "Arr, Me Mateys" and "Walk the plank!" As we always do on Halloween night, we went to my parent's house for a chili dinner and trick-or-treating around their neighborhood. My parent's get a lot of trick-or-treaters at their door, so it's also fun to see all the kids' costumes and pass out candy.
We got out fairly early, due to having a 3 year old and the fact that there happened to be a Razorback football game on at trick-or-treating time! (Can you say "scheduling conflict?")
Mason remembered about half of the time to say "Trick or Treat" and managed to mumble "Thank you" at each house until I we pointed out that people couldn't hear him. The next house we visited got a very loud "THANK YOU!!!" We couldn't help but laugh.
Mason did good walking around until he got tired toward the end and Daddy "got" to carry all 40 pounds of him.
The rest of the evening was spent handing out candy and laughing with family and a few friends...another great Halloween!
Here's the very serious "ARRRRRRR"
He was so impressed that the pretzels were shaped like bats & jack-o-lanterns!
My nephew, Cameron (dressed as a baseball player) and Wayne A new pumpkin light!
Treats from family
Ready to go trick-or-treating!
A spooky house (Mason loved it)
When we returned from getting candy, my niece, Chloe', was there~ dressed as a pirate, too!
At home, checking out the goods...
Fall Festival/Trunk-Or-Treat
Yes, I'm still posting about Halloween...On Oct 25th, I took Mason to our church's Fall Festival. He was excited to get to wear his costume a little early and participate in...
The beanbag toss
Decorating his own pumpkin
Getting his face painted (first time ever!)
There was also a cake walk (that I didn't get a picture of) where Mason won a plate of cupcakes.
But his favorite part was Trunk-Or-Treat! (AKA getting candy!)
We loved seeing all the cars decorated and some of them were a little creepy. But Mason is NOT at all scared of such things. He went right under this black curtain and into this "graveyard" scene and reached for the skeleton hand!
They served a dinner of hot dogs and frito chili pie and lots of sweet treats~Yum! I'm so glad we went and that Mason had such a good time!
