Spring has Sprung!

Mason has gotten to play outside the last 2 days. It has been warm and beautiful, although windy. Yesterday, he rode his Jeep until the battery ran out, played on his slide, and had me push him in his swing over & over again. He's so glad to be able to play outside, although we are having to limit the time he spends in the sun due to his allergies. He not only has regular seasonal allergies and eczema, but has now developed a skin sensitivity to the sun that makes him break out into an itchy rash. Poor kid~our pediatrician says to try to play in the shade, so that's what we did today. (post to follow)

Spring Break

Mason has had a blast this week during Spring Break! Wayne & I have had to work, and my Dad has been in Fort Smith taking care of my Grandma who just had surgery on a tendon in her foot. So my sister, Angela, has been watching Mason over the last three days..and spoiling him!

Day One: He got to play with his cousin Cameron's toys, and "Aunt La's" piano. They had lunch at Wendy's because he suggested they go there! He even took a long nap that afternoon, which RARELY happens!

Day Two: Chuck E. Cheese's!!! We only take him once a year on his birthday, so he was in heaven! (poor deprived kid!) He had fun playing with Cameron there, too. That afternoon~ANOTHER NAP!

Day Three: Today was a dark, cold rainy day so they stayed home and played. He did not take a nap...but he was asleep by 8:10 tonight! What a busy, fun week! THANKS AUNT ANGELA!!! (and thanks for taking all these pictures!)

Spring Snow

What's wrong with this picture? GREEN grass with SNOW!?!!

Since Mother Nature blessed us with one last snow, (on the first day of Spring, might I add) I felt compelled to let Mason play in it one last time. Well, I guess I should have let him play in it over the weekend, but it just didn't happen until this afternoon when most of it had melted. The backyard was a sloppy, muddy mess with slushy snow on top. Of course Mason still had a great time while I cringed as he jumped up & down in the mud puddles, trying to remind myself that it's just mud and he is a boy.

Eeeewwwwww

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We didn't do much to celebrate St. Patty's day today besides wearing green, but I wanted to get a few pictures anyway...you know I've got to scrapbook them! So I got these glasses out (took his pic in them last year as well) and Mason had a little photo shoot...

Our Big Boy

I bet you're thinking what I'm thinking...Wow! Look how big Mason is! Doesn't he look like such a big boy?!?!!
He's now 3 years & 8 months old and has been growing again lately. I took these pictures before church the Sunday before last. Of course he had to get in a goofy one, too. (He is NOT throwing up a gang sign!)
Also, just a side note: I actually made the new St.Patty's blog header last year at this time but there was a glitch & the program I was using wouldn't let me download it to my computer, so I was never able to use it last year. I thought I'd go ahead & use it this year, so I updated the picture of Mason and re-saved it but it would not save! (what is it with this?!) So I just went ahead & used it with Mason's picture from 1 year ago. Take a look & compare how much he's grown! (boo hoo!)

Super Mason

Not too much has been going on around here...just working, sleeping, cleaning, eating...nothing too fun to blog about! I did have a fun Stella & Dot jewelry party at my house a few weeks ago, but I didn't take any pictures :( I got some free jewelry & a couple half price items that are on the way to me now! Can't wait!

I am now already 12 weeks along in my pregnancy! Next week will start my 2nd trimester, which is just hard to believe! Hopefully I will start to have some more energy because I have been a sleepy slug! Other that that, I've been feeling pretty good.
A few days ago, Mason decided he was Superman (not sure exactly how he knows that much about Superman) and asked for a hooded bath towel to be a cape. He had so much fun with it. He was running up & down the hallway and saying he was saving the day! He wouldn't stop moving long enough to get any good pictures, but here's what I got:
