Since Mason hasn't gotten to play outside much since Spring began due to his terrible allergies, I took him to Jump Zone last weekend for some indoor fun. He is going to attend a birthday party there this Saturday, so you will see more Jump Zone pictures after these! He had so much fun! He played hard for an hour & 20 minutes...until I was starving & tired of standing around! He was pretty much out of energy by then and was hot & hungry, too.
Taking a brief break to pose cute for Mommy...
Exiting Finding Nemo inflatable (all pics are action shots~I couldn't get him to stop running long enough to get a good pic!)
This is a HUGE slide that reaches the roof of the building...Mason is at the top. Last time we went to JZ (almost a year ago), I had to go down this slide with him...but this time he did it all by himself (about a million times!) Good thing, since I can't do much sliding these days with baby on board!
This one was pretty big, too
At the bottom of a dump truck
There were big gumballs inside!

Chloe's Prom!
My beautiful niece, Chloe' attended Prom this weekend with her boyfriend, Spencer. I cannot believe my sweet niecy-poo will be turning 17 in less than 2 weeks and has gone to Prom! I was so happy we were able to have (a long, grueling) photo shoot at my mom's house before they went to his parents' house (for more photos!)
They had a good time and looked great!

BCSA High School Fundraiser
Last Friday night, my family and I attended my niece Chloe's dinner theater fundraiser for the Benton County School of the Arts High School (BCSAHS). It was a fun evening with a silent auction, display of artwork by the students, and a delicious dinner made by the NWACC Culinary School. The students put on a great show with songs by the Show Choir (in which Chloe' is a part of), acted out skits, and the dance company also performed original choreography.
The final performance of the evening was especially good! It was "Both Reached for the Gun" from Chicago and Chloe' sang the main role as Roxy. She's in the flapper dress and the main male role with her is her boyfriend, Spencer.
All of the performers:
Chloe' in action, as Roxy...
Show choir singing (Chloe's in the middle)
They sang "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables (one of my faves!) as well as "The Rose" and several other songs The proud family...Chloe' with my Mom, with Me, and with Angela (her mom!)
Great job, Chloe' and all of the performers/students that worked so hard!

Weekend Update
Wishing he could go outside...
Mason is slowly getting better. He's still coughing and wheezing at night getting over the bronchitis, but has been feeling and looking much better. There have been many struggles with taking the "yucky-tasting" medicine, but he's been a trooper throughout the last 2-3 weeks of this junk.
He has been so bored being cooped up in the house and will say things like, "I have allergies" and "I wish the pollen would go away." The rain we had this weekend has helped him some. And this chocolate pudding seemed to make his day...
I have been pricing yard sale stuff and cleaning house all day today while Wayne has been putting new struts on my car. Productive but not much fun.

Mason is Miserable!
We've had to keep Mason inside for weeks now with the extreme high levels of pollen. He has allergies anyway, but this Spring has put him over the edge! A few weeks ago, he was fighting a skin rash & eczema. He got over that and then started sneezing and coughing and rubbing his eyes constantly. His eyes almost swelled shut yesterday! He still looked terrible last night & this morning, so I took him to the Dr. & turns out his allergies have developed into bacterial infections. He has an eye infection, sinus infection, and a mild case of bronchitis! I have felt so bad for him. I could barely look at his little swollen eyes without tearing up (pregnancy hormones or not!)
The good news is that as of tonight, his eyes look 90% better! They could still swell again and is contagious, so he's unfortunately out of preschool this week. I'm just glad we have medicine & he's already feeling a little better!
I had to take a picture to document this, although I felt kind of bad doing it. These pictures do NO justice as to how swollen his poor eyes were~these were taken when he was looking a lot better!

Easter 2010: Part 2
After church on Easter, we ran home & gave Mason his Easter basket full of (new, non-dried out) PlayDoh, a stuffed animal, a car, and some candy. (it was a little sunny!)
Then we headed to my parent's house for lunch. My mom had made a big meal for the whole family & it was good! Grandma, Chloe', Lindsay (A.K.A. me!), Wayne, (Mason is in the corner by Wayne), Dad, Angela, Forrest, Zach (Forrest's son), Cameron..and Mom was taking the picture.

Check out my mom's beautiful "tablescaping!"

Easter 2010: Part 1
We had a great (& very busy) Easter Sunday! We managed to snap a few quick pictures before church. I was elated that the weather was actually nice for a change on Easter! It's usually cold & wet but it was a beautiful day & Mason was able to wear the short- sleeved shirt I'd bought for him.
And since I realized that I hadn't had any pregnant pictures taken yet (gasp!) I made sure to get a few quick belly shots in! I'm 17 weeks and feeling great! I can't believe that I'm approaching the half way mark. I will share more baby stuff soon...promise!

Dying Easter Eggs
On Saturday, Mason colored Easter eggs! We have about 60 plastic eggs to hunt that are filled with goodies, but I wanted him to experience coloring real eggs, so I boiled 18 eggs & 6 of the shells cracked, so he colored a dozen eggs! (which was plenty) I bought this contraption that you drop dye in, place the egg inside & put the lid on top. You then push down on the button on top & it spins the egg around in the dye. It creates a pretty marble-looking design. It wasn't messy at all and made the eggs so pretty~plus Mason liked pushing the button down over & over to coat to eggs.
THESE eggs, however, did NOT turn out so good!!! Long story short, I tried to make Jello jigglers 3D eggs and 2 things went wrong~I forgot to grease the molds first and the molds wouldn't stay closed & therefore leaked out the hot Jello! It was a disaster! The good news is that they taste good & Mason likes them!
