Warning: If you care nothing about birds or the wonders of nature, this will be boring to you. :)
Last week, while in our sunroom, we discovered that a robin had built a really awesome nest on top of our meter outside, right next to the sunroom window. (The construction of it is amazing, although you can't tell by the picture) It's in a great place since it's tucked in a corner & under the overhang of our house, but we worried for a minute if it was a fire hazard. We figured it was ok and of course didn't want to disturb it or the Mama Bird who was diligently sitting on her eggs. (See her in the pic?) She keeps a close eye on us when we're in the sunroom and has stared Wayne down a few times.
Wayne saw something we thought was very interesting. On a chillier, rainy day last week, he said Mama Bird was sitting on the nest & Baby Daddy flew up & fed Mama a worm!!! Now we had no idea that Baby Daddy stuck around after doing the deed, let alone was willing to feed Mama bird. Nature is Amazing!
On Monday I got curious to see the robin-blue eggs and Mama Bird was not on the nest, so I pulled a chair up close to the window to try to peek in and I saw 2 baby birds! They have huge beaks and are pretty scruffy looking. Wayne mowed the lawn on Wed. & got dive-bombed a few times, but all is well.
This is my 4th post tonight & I still have Chloe's 16th Birthday to post but I'm too tired. Go see the other posts from tonight & I'll be back soon!

First, I love your little blog header - very cute!
Second, were you in Glo the other day with Mason? I was on the other side of the store and when I glanced over it looked just like you and your son. I've never seen you in person before (obviously) but it looked like y'all. Just curious. :)
Oh and I only like bird nests when they are not on my front porch. If you walk outside you are taking a chance of getting attacked by Momma bird. I hate it!
