Our Trip to the County Fair

On Friday, we took Mason to the fair~We realized he'd never been! We first walked through to see the animals and Mason got to pet some goats & sheep and looked at horses & cows.
Then we headed for the rides. He was the perfect age & height to ride the kiddie rides and he wasn't shy about going straight for the roller coaster, called the "Dragon Wagon." (that made me laugh)
See his little pumpkin head in the 3rd car from the end? :)

His next stop was the swings that go around & up & down. I used to love those when I was little. He looks a little apprehensive in this pic, but he was really just tired. Once the ride started, he was all smiles! He even saw the girls behind him putting their arms up, so he did the same.
(There he is~middle right!)

Next was the Ferris Wheel. Daddy took Mason while I stayed on the ground (both to take pictures & save tickets!) Mason boasted that he could "see the whole city" from the top.

We were all pretty tired & hot by the time the sun had set, so Mason used his last tickets on 2 different bouncy houses. He was so tired that he laid down in one of them to rest in between jumps! We got some cold drinks as we left for the car & Mason got to ride on Daddy's neck since he was getting "noodle legs." It was a good first experience at the fair with Mason!
