Heavy Heart

I cannot beleive the devistation from Hurricane Katrina. It's unbelievable. I sat tonight and watched footage and thought, 'here I am sitting in my house watching my big screen tv eating food and drinking coke and it could all be taken away in the blink of an eye.' Those victims have been sitting outside with nothing but the clothes on thier backs and although our government has very little to help them, they are constantly on tv talking about how much they've done. I know it has to be hard to get supplies there, but come on--they've been there for almost a week!! And Pres. Bush did a "fly over" in the his helicopter--oooooh, that'll give you a great connection with the Americans that are suffering. It's ridiculous.
