Hostess with the Mostess

Well, I successfully held my Southern Living at Home party at my house this week. (LOVE their stuff!) It turned out great! It was a lot of work (cleaning every inch of my house and preparing food, etc) but it was so worth it. I think all my friends had a good time. I had 11 friends over! I got $260 worth of stuff FREE and I got 5 1/2 price items. Not too shabby. I'll get everyone's stuff in about 2 weeks and then I can pass it out.
The consultant is trying to talk me into being a consultant. I've been feeling so overwhelmed lately I just can't take on anything else right now. I would like to do it --but I can't. Maybe in the future.
This picture is totally unrelated to my post--I'm just so proud of the fact I figured out how to post a pic!! I'm not exactly great with computer stuff like that! I took this pic in our back yard this summer--almost all the flowers are dead now--I can't believe it's September! I LOVE fall, but the end of Summer is always kinda sad.
Tomorrow is the first Razorback football game!!! it really IS Fall! We might go, but I'm sooo not looking forward to standing around and trying to buy tickets. It would be so much fun though! GO HOGS!
gotta go to bed--I have to work in the morning --on Labor day weekend (ugg)
