2nd Annual Touch-a-Truck

Break out your hard hats and get ready for another great time at Touch a Truck 2008! Kids of all ages can climb, discover and explore their favorite things on wheels at this family-friendly event!

Touch a Truck is a unique and fun time that no one else in Northwest Arkansas is offering. Visitors and participants can touch and climb on vehicles of all types, including construction vehicles, emergency vehicles, motorcycles and big rigs. Kids will also have a blast jumping in the bouncy houses, chowing down on great food, learning about safety, winning great prizes, and learning to build items with the Home Depot crew.

Touch a Truck 2008 will be Saturday, April 26th, 2008 from 10-2 at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center, which is just off I-540 at exit 83 in Rogers. Admission armbands are $5 per person or $20 per family.

Proceeds from this event will help fund various projects sponsored by the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas. To help meet the needs in our communities, we focus on domestic violence awareness, education, and prevention. Our partner agencies include long-term shelters, Restoration Village and Havenwood, as well as Children’s House, a therapeutic daycare for preschool-age children who have been victims of abuse or neglect.

The Junior League of Northwest Arkansas is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
