Thanksgiving 2009

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our families! My Mom (and my sister helped out) made a yummy traditional turkey dinner. After we stuffed ourselves, we exchanged Thanksgiving gifts, which is a little tradition in our family. Each person gets a gift (that is supposed to be used for the upcoming Christmas season)

Time to eat!
This is what our family gave as gifts this year. I filled these jars with hot cocoa mix, marshmallows (or as Mason calls them, Smushmallows) mini chocolate chips, and crushed peppermint. (Mason helped crush the peppermint!) Then tied them with ribbon, added some jingle bells & an ornament~and voila! I also made one to keep & it was yummy! Wayne & I had it gone within a few days!
Mason's gift was this adorable little apron that his Mimi (my Mom) made for him!
Mason also got a gingerbread house kit (which he WAS happy about, although you can't tell from this picture!)
Wayne got a gift card

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, we joined Wayne's family for a Thanksgiving meal. It was also yummy & we had fun visiting with family.
