Happy 4th of July!

We had a BBQ tonight at our house. It was our first "dinner party" hosted at our new house! Everything went really well and we had fun. We had:
hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, mixed green salad with walnuts & dried cranberries (yum), potato salad, watermelon, and peanut butter fudge ice cream sandwich dessert. After dinner, we all went to our friend's land to watch them shoot off fireworks. Tomorrow everyone's coming back over to eat leftovers and then we'll go watch the big fireworks show. I love Summertime and July 4th!

Brandy Slush Recipe (YUM!)

This is a wonderful drink!!! I got this recipe from my friend Christy and I didn't think I would like Brandy but it's so smooth in this drink.

You'll become a lush on...
<strong>Brandy Slush

In a large pan, heat
7 cups water and
2 cups sugar until dissolved.
Add the above mixture to
12oz frozen concentrate orange juice and
12 oz frozen concentrate lemonade
In separate pan, boil 2 cups water with 4 tea bags
and pour into above mixture.
Add 2-3 cups of Brandy. (depending on how strong you like it)
Freeze.
Serve several scopes of the frozen mixture with Sprite poured over it.

ok-I changed my blog name

I changed the name of my blog from "scrap_fairy's blog" to "scraptacular" for obvious reasons...
1. the first title was extremely unoriginal (i named it really fast before I went to bed, so i put zero thought into it)
2. I think "scraptacular" is pretty much going to sum up the unimportant things I say on here.
(drop the "s" and that's what you're gonna get on this blog) and I will mostly be disscussing (with myself) scrapbooking.
Well, gotta go eat steak...

This is wierd!

This is so wierd! Maybe I'm behind on the trend--but I just decided to try this. Saw it on 2peas and thought it was pretty cool. Don't expect anything too exciting form me for a while--I'm just figuring this out.! :)
