Halloween Party Pictures

Ok~Melissa has the good version of the Halloween costume party pictures posted on her blog now. You must go check them out~they put my terrible pictures to shame.

And I forgot to mention in the previous post that we are attending another Halloween costume party this Saturday, so we will actually get to wear our costumes. I promise to have plenty of pictures to post!

Annual Halloween Costume Party

Our friends, the Tyndalls, host a Halloween costume party every year. It's always fun to see what everyone is dressed up as because we all keep it a secret until the night of the party. Since we had such great tickets to the Razorback game, we decided to go to the game & try to make it to the party after. Well, we ended up getting there at 11pm. We didn't even bother putting our costumes on, although in hindsight, we probably should have. There were a lot of other people that I did not get pictures of, including the hosts, but I'm sure Melissa will be posting better pics on her blog. Oh well, we still had fun and it was a rare night out (Mason spent the night at my parents) getting to see our friends.

Razorback Game

Yesterday afternoon, we dropped Mason off at my parents...

And headed to campus to tailgate with some friends before the Razorback/Ole Miss game

We had great seats on the 50 yard line on the 25th row

Too bad the game didn't go too great. Oh well, we had fun. After the game we headed to a Halloween party...(post to follow)

Today I did something I haven't done since I was 14...

I got a flu shot!

Last year's "plague" hit almost everyone (I was the most sick on Valentine's day) so I thought I might as well give in and just do it. Plus I think I'll have Mason vaccinated & I wouldn't do it to him without putting myself through it. Can I just say~OUCH! The shot itself did not hurt, but my arm started feeling sore right after & it aches all over now! Of course I kept hitting it all day & leaning on it by accident. (not that I lean a lot) Anyway, I did it & I'm a big baby about it. That's pretty much all I wanted to share.
Oh, and that my boss bought me an awesome new desk today! I get to graduate up from the table I was using that had zero work space after shelving my computer, keyboard, adding machine, phone, etc. I will be rearranging my office tomorrow & I need to start a painting for one of the walls. They're screaming for some artwork!
Man, I lead a pretty exciting life.

Painting Pumpkins

This afternoon, Mason painted the pumpkin he picked out yesterday at the pumpkin patch. He was a minimalist at first, but then got the hang of it & swirled the paint all around. He also painted the paper plates I used to put the paint on & some of the newspaper I laid down.

A Day at the Pumpkin Patch

...ok, not a day. Maybe an hour?
Mason got to go to the pumpkin patch for the first time! He was excited to pick out his own pumpkin. Every year we get a big one for Wayne, a medium one for me & a small one for Mason. Each person gets to pick out their own. We ventured to Pea Ridge today to go to McGarrah's and it was pretty neat. They had hay rides pulled by a tractor (we didn't ride but Mason liked the tractor) and many great photo ops.

Fun Craft Fair Day

Friday was a fun day. Me, Mason, my Mom, Sister, & Cameron went craft-fairing all day. Mason was excited about watching a Backyardigans movie in Mimi's car. Everytime we'd get in he'd hold up the headphones & say "put on." After lunch at Slim Chickens, we went to Embassy Suites. It was my favorite. Nice stuff~lots of jewelry, embroidery, cutesy stuff.

Next we went to Spanker Creek in Bella Vista which had a nice atmosphere~looks like this will be our new Ole Applegate Place!

We found some neat metal Razorbacks

I loved this laundry room sign (& the "OOL" one is funny too)

Mason with Spanker Creek (couldn't they come up with a better name for that?)

Great Fall photo Op

Then we headed to Dairy Queen! Mason ate almost a whole hot dog, some fries & he was very sure that he needed a Dilly Bar!

We had a short pit stop at my parent's house then headed back out to the Frisco Station Mall crafting (with low expectations, which were granted!) However, the boys spotted the huge flashy-light carnival in the mall parking lot & since we'd been tugging them around craft fairs all day, we decided to let them ride a few rides (although it was Mason's bed time!) He rode this little train and smiled & waved, "Hi Mama!"

Cameron rode the "Tornado" and the "Scrambler"

What a long, full day! Mason had a gret time & crashed as soon as we got home (and so did I!)
