Day Trips to Fort Smith (June 2011)

My family & I took a couple short trips to Fort Smith to visit my grandmother while she was in a physical rehab facility. (Thus, no photos of her.) My dad was there taking care of her, so we got to meet up with him, have lunch and visit with her. Mason wanted to explore her backyard, so we took a few pictures outside with her pig collection. (Go Hogs!)

Angela's Bridal Shower (May 2011)

My sister's co-workers threw her a nice bridal shower that we attended. It was several months before her wedding because she was moving out of state.

My Mom with Madelyn & Mason...

 My sister being silly.

 Opening lots of great gifts!

They even made her this book, full of all of her funny stories, quotes, and emails over the years she worked there with them! What a great keepsake!

She was married several months later on 9-10-11...photos to come--when I make it to September!

Angela's College Graduation (May 2011)

My sister, Angela, graduated with honors from NWACC last Spring! We're all so proud of her and she's now about to graduate with her Masters in Elementary Education. She'll be student teaching very soon!

My whole family was there to watch her walk to get her diploma!

New Year's 2010--->2011!

Hats off to 2010! This is how exciting our New Year's Eve was this year...at home with the kiddos!

And this is how we found Madelyn in the morning--it was the first time she had MOVED around in her crib overnight! I was amazed & thankful she didn't have a stuffed animal on her face! All those cute stuffed animals went bye-bye out of the crib!
New Year's day we headed over to my parent's house for Mom's annual meal with black-eyed peas. (Not THE Black Eyed Peas)
We had lots of fun with the napkins-here's my Mom with the kids. Mason is wearing a "tie."
Then my sister decided to wear a napkin. Our family has this silly tradition (I'll explain later)...I actually think she looks like a pilgrim--Wrong holiday!
...So then it was Maddie's turn...
Tah-da! Maddie-Mima!
Exciting, right?

Hey, people, at least I'm Finally done posting about Christmas!!! Yea--getting the blog caught up--I'm in 2011 now!

Christmas Eve 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve at my parent's house. Every year, my mom makes a big lasagna dinner and then we all unwrap our gifts. We have a traditional turkey/ham dinner on Christmas day. We also go to Wayne's parent's on Christmas day, so this helps spread out all the festivities! Mason was all excited to unwrap his presents, of course-he was a fun age this year for it. Poor Madelyn had no idea what was going on!

I love this picture of our kiddos!

My sister and Grandma with Madelyn

I love all the munchie appetizers my mom puts out! I feel that she should have this out all year long...;)

After dessert...
Wayne & a new wrench

I got these "Smartie Pants" for my niece & nephew. They are little handmade corduroy pants filled with Smarties candies. I found them on Etsy & thought they were so cute & funny!
Mom's new Coach purse~I want it!
More unwrapping...
One of Mason's favorite gifts~The Mystery Machine!
My sister, Angela, with a gift from us.

We are so blessed to live so close to our families!
