Under the Tree & Dreaming...

This little sweetheart had been playing on her new playmat and finally got so sleepy, she just rolled over on her side & fell right asleep...almost under the Christmas tree! I had to steal a few pictures! (4 months old)

We ate cinnamon rolls (our tradition) for breakfast and then went to Wayne's parents house for a small family gathering & a big meal.

Christmas Eve 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve at my parent's house. Every year, my mom makes a big lasagna dinner and then we all unwrap our gifts. We have a traditional turkey/ham dinner on Christmas day. We also go to Wayne's parent's on Christmas day, so this helps spread out all the festivities! Mason was all excited to unwrap his presents, of course-he was a fun age this year for it. Poor Madelyn had no idea what was going on!

I got these "Smartie Pants" for my niece & nephew. They are little handmade corduroy pants filled with Smarties candies. I found them on Etsy & thought they were so cute & funny!

Cookies for Santa

Mason and I made (and by made, I mean "sliced off") cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve-Day. He just loves putting the crystal sugar sprinkles on the top--and gets a little carried away! He was really excited about making them & loves to help out in the kitchen any day.



We made sugar cookies with kisses on top & good ol'chocolate chip.

Before bed, we made sure to put out the cookie plate. Mason decided Santa needed 6 cookies and instead of milk, this year he wanted to put out cranberry juice. Mmmkay.

Annual Girls Christmas Party

This is either the 3rd or 4th year (lost track!) that my 3 good friends, Amber, Amanda, Heather, and I have gotten together to have some girl time before the holidays. It's always a great time to get caught up on each others' lives, exchange gifts, eat, drink, and LAUGH!!! I love these 3!

3rd Annual Gingerbread House

Mason and I enjoyed making our gingerbread house again this year. I love how every year it turns out different. (We use a pre-made kit from Sam's Club-they have the best quality.) Wayne snapped these pictures while we were busy decorating. I can't wait until Madelyn is old enough to help us!
