I'm still alive! I can't remember the last time I went a week without posting! This week was eventful...
I got to have lunch with my best friend, Tori. It was so nice to talk and chill with her for a while.

Then on Wednesday I worked and then went to the Wal-Mart shareholder's concert with my parents & sister. I got to see Journey! They were so good! The new lead singer sounds just like Steve Perry and the story about him is inspiring!
All American Rejects opened for them (who? I'm the only one who doesn't know them I guess! I don't listen to that station. Anyway...) And they surprised us with One Republic! They came out and sang 3 songs (2 of which are on the radio & I love them both. May have to invest in that cd) It was a fun night.



Then Thursday, I worked & got off early & went to Party City in Fayetteville & bought more Backyardigans themed stuff for Mason's upcoming birthday, grabbed some food from McAlister's & met up with my family again to go to another W-M concert-- Carrie Underwood & Keith Urban! Besides waiting in 40 mph winds and standing in line 35 minutes for a bottle of water, it rocked! Carrie was so cute and Keith was too! He is such a great guitarist & put on a wonderful show. He came out to the audience several times and even gave a fan the guitar he was playing!!




I forgot my camera both nights (what's up with me lately?!?) so I took some pics with my phone. I'll share them as soon as I figure out how to do that. I'm still getting used to my new phone. ( I did NOT take these pics) So Wayne & Mason got to spend 2 nights together without Mommy. I heard they went great.

Friday night, Mason & I went to a birthday party at Fun City. It was my best friend's daughter's 8th birthday and we had a great time! Mason dragged me all over that place--he was in heaven! And I found out that they have really good pizza there!

I took Mason to get his hair cut on Tuesday. He was way overdue for a cut, but she took more off than I asked. I miss those curls on the side and Wayne was not happy about the length at all. Nevertheless, he looks so stinkin cute in his big boy haircut!

I'm back, Baby!

Ok, I finally had time to fix my background. I probably shouldn't have gone with the girly pink with ribbons, seeing as though most of this blog is plastered with Mason but I need a little girly going on right now. All the blue & green scrapbook pages are getting old!
Mason turned 22 months on Saturday. I cannot believe his 2nd birthday is approaching so quickly!
He has taken a nap on the couch the last couple of days. He really seems to like it and sleeps well there (who doesn't sleep good on a couch?)

Today he figured out how to take his shirt off. And his pants. And he's been pulling on the tabs on his diaper all too frequently lately...time to (officially) potty train I guess.
