Sunday we visited Wayne's Mom & Dad and also got to see his Grandma and his Sister & her family while we were there! The weather was nice and Mason had so much fun playing with his cousins, Lexi and Haley. We also got to eat homemade stew that Wayne's Mom, Clova, made. Yum!

Good Ole Redneck BBQ
Smoked ribs, half chickens & brisket + classic country + horseshoes & cornhole + kids running around getting dirty + tents + a keg + American flags = Good Ole Redneck BBQ!!!
And it wasn't even the 4th of July! I'm a little behind on blogging, so I'm getting caught up on the last few weekends. We went to Wayne's parent's for a huge BBQ for my Mother-in-Law's birthday. It was originally meant to be a family thing, but my FIl got a little carried away inviting friends. There were like 50 people there, 40 if which we did not know. Neverthless, it was a good time!!

Christmas Day
We headed out to Wayne's parent's house for Christmas lunch with his family and more unwrapping...
This ball was one of his fave gifts...
However, this ball he WILL NOT touch!!! The gelly/fringy stuff freaks him out! It's so funny!
Our niece Haley, passed out right when it was time to open presents!
After leaving Wayne's parents, we ran home then headed back over to my parent's for our 2nd big meal of the day. We were all pretty exhausted from all of the festivities--especially Mason! We had a great Christmas and are so thankful for all of the gifts, time with family, and good food!

Thanksgiving Number 2
Saturday we had Thanksgiving with Wayne's family. It was the first year that our families had thier get-togethers on different days, so it was really nice to be able to enjoy ourselves and not be rushed or really over-stuffed.
Mason had such a good time playing with his cousins and was very well-behaved, unlike these pictures show! I got to looking at them and it looks like he's being naughty!
"Mine!" (he doesn't say that yet, but I know he was thinking it!)...with Haley
